• 2026/2027 Presidential Academic Scholarship Application

    The scholarship application and all required documents are due by close of business on

    March 2, 2026 at 4:30 pm CST.

    The SUSCC Presidential Academic Scholarships are awarded to students graduating from high school during the 2025/2026 academic year who would like to pursue an associate's degree.  If you have questions regarding the application process, email suscholarships@suscc.edu.

    The following must be completed for scholarship consideration: 

    1. Must have submitted a Southern Union Application for General Admissions and meet all admissions requirements. You may apply for admissions online at www.suscc.edu.
    2. Must have at least a 95 % average or higher numeric GPA (required)
    3. Must have a composite ACT score of 23 or higher (required)
    4. Must meet all U.S. citizenship requirements
    5. Must submit a complete scholarship packet including all requirements listed below:           *Letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher, etc. 
         (see details below)
      * Resume listing your activities, honors, and achievements
      * Academic Requirement Verification Form completed by your
         high school counselor or principal
      * High school trancript (see details below)
      * Composite ACT scores
      * Personal Statement concerning your educational and career goals (see details below)

      You will be able to save this form if needed in order to return and upload the completed Academic Requirement Verification form signed by your Counselor/Principal.  If you are planning to complete this online form at a later date, you will need to use the "Save" option. After the form is saved, an email will be sent with instructions on how to access the form at a later date. Be sure to check your SPAM folder in your email.

      If you are ready to submit the completed form, you can click the "Submit" option instead.
