2026/2027 Presidential Academic Scholarship Application

The scholarship application and all required documents are due by close of business on

March 2, 2026 at 4:30 pm CST.

The SUSCC Presidential Academic Scholarships are awarded to students graduating from high school during the 2025/2026 academic year who would like to pursue an associate's degree. If you have questions regarding the application process, email suscholarships@suscc.edu.

The following must be completed for scholarship consideration:

Must have submitted a Southern Union Application for General Admissions and meet all admissions requirements. You may apply for admissions online at www.suscc.edu.
Must have at least a 95 % average or higher numeric GPA (required)
Must have a composite ACT score of 23 or higher (required)
Must meet all U.S. citizenship requirements
Must submit a complete scholarship packet including all requirements listed below: *Letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher, etc.

* Resume listing your activities, honors, and achievements
* Academic Requirement Verification Form completed by your
high school counselor or principal
* High school trancript (see details below)
* Composite ACT scores
* Personal Statement concerning your educational and career goals (see details below)

If you are planning to complete this online form at a later date, you will need to use the "Save" option.
