2025 NOMINATION FORM
Southern Union State Community College (SUSCC) values its community partners who invest in the college by providing opportunities for current SUSCC students; share their expertise and knowledge through advisory boards; access SUSCC training for their employees; and who invest in Southern Union Foundation and the College with their financial philanthropic support. Our partners are committed to providing our students with the foundation necessary for future personal and professional growth and leadership opportunities.

The Outstanding Community Partner Award recognizes local businesses or agencies that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the success of the SUSCC’s students, faculty, staff, and our programs over the past academic year.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS MARCH 14, 2025

SELECTION CRITERIA

Nominees must have a demonstrated record of the following:
- Mentoring, providing internships or hiring current students
- Allowing their employees to serve on Southern Union advisory boards
- Participation in career fairs
- Utilize Southern Union training for their employees
- Providing resources through financial gifts and in-kind donations
METHOD OF AWARD SELECTION

The recipient of the award will be notified and invited to the recognition event which takes place on April 10, 2025.
