2025/2026 Bison Media Influencer Scholarship

The scholarship application and all required documents are due by close of business on March 3, 2025 at 4:30 pm CST.

The SUSCC Bison Media Influencer Scholarships are awarded to students graduating from high school during the 2024/2025 academic year or currently enrolled college students who would like to pursue an associate's degree program and actively work with the SUSCC Public Relations Department. If you have questions regarding the application process, email suscholarships@suscc.edu.

Applicants must have strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently.

The following must be completed for scholarship consideration:

Must have submitted a Southern Union Application for General Admissions and meet all admissions requirements. You may apply for admissions online at www.suscc.edu.
Must have at least a 2.50 or higher GPA (required)
Have experience working with Adobe Suite, Canva, and have documented experience of working with the media team at the high school level or with a community organization.
Must submit a complete scholarship packet including all requirements listed below:

* A complete Bison Media Influencer Scholarship Application Form
* Letter of recommendation from a media team sponsor, counselor, teacher, organizer of a community organization, etc to confirm leadership abilities
* Resume listing your activites, honors, and achievements
* Unofficial High school trancript or unoffcial college transcript (see details below)
* Personal statement concerning your experience in media production, Adobe Suite, Canva, or other creativity platforms and your experience with being a leader within your student body
